Established in 1967, SM INDUSTRY AUTOMOTIVE started its business as a domestic OEM & OES windshield wiper manufacturer. The company began to supply its windshield wipers to over 50 countries and has maintained a solid market position since 1995. Since 2012, SM INDUSTRY AUTOMOTIVE has consistently maintained a 50% market share within the Korean windshield wiper retail market. SM INDUSTRY AUTOMOTIVE strives to continually exceed the expectations of its clients through extensive R&D efforts.
Windshield wipers are used to remove rain, snow, ice and debris from the windshields. The windshield wipers were developed in 1905, and have been continually improving with SM INDUSTRY AUTOMOTIVE playing a part in these improvements.
Our proprietary frame design and construction minimizes the potential “wind- lifting” of the conventional blade during higher speeds, through the use vent holes spoilers in the frame. This enables the standard performance and durability.
Modern windshield wiping technology has made driving safer than ever. One of the most significant developments in wiper technology has been the “flat” blade, which provides exceptional visibility. The absence of hinges and joints prevents the buildup of snow and ice results in a longer product life cycle. The “flat” nature ensures quiet and soft wiping capability.

SM INDUSTRY AUTOMOTIVE manufactures several kinds of wiper arms to meet OEM standards,in all aspects of quality such as performance, strength, corrosion, resistance and durability. The wiper arm usually lasts the life of the vehicle. The Arm should be replaced when it is found to be damaged and worn.
